中国音乐文化中心介绍
坐落于美国田纳西州莫菲斯堡市中田纳西州立大学的中国音乐文化中心,毗邻享誉全球的美国音乐之都纳什维尔市。中田校方划拨其位于中田主校区与市中心之间的米勒教育中心大楼一层3200平方英尺的场地作为音乐文化中心,内部包括乐器展厅、排练厅、图书阅览厅、多功能厅及两间办公室。中心内部装修于2015年秋动工,2016年落成,内部设有三台大屏幕,具备环绕音响及触屏功能。
中心现展有中国各民族代表乐器百余件,其中核心展品为一套24件曾侯乙编钟复制品,配有一套18件编磬,由武汉市精密仪器制造厂厂长李明安总工程师制作,湖北省博物馆监制,此套编钟为北美唯一复制品。馆藏中国音乐、戏曲、历史等各类书籍音响资料近千份,韩梅主任与中田图书馆筹划将中心藏书列入校园图书馆目录,以备全球检索。同时,中心与中田大学宣传机构密切合作,利用媒体及多种渠道平台扩大对中心的宣传。韩梅主任在美国公众广播公司(NPR)、莫菲斯堡市广播电台、中田校报、在线E报、《纳什维尔艺术》及其他当地杂志等公共刊物专访,对中心作出大力推广。中心还印制了宣传册及各类活动预告册,并建立了中心网页及You Tube/Face-book/Twitter等国外网络在线平台,即时更新。

2016年秋季学期开始,学院“中外音乐文化交流与体验”基地外派季节教授、李增光教授、米炫晔老师(研究生、志愿者教师)赴中心工作。中田中乐队列为大学音乐系学分课程,在三位老师的协作下,这支大学中乐队迅速成长,已举办多场音乐会。作为中田音乐学院民族音乐学副教授, 韩梅主任将《音乐欣赏》、《世界音乐》两门课程中的中国音乐部分接手, 使用中心展厅作为这门课的教学基地,仅2016秋季学期, 25个班级、1000多名不同专业的学生在此学习,中心教师们通过现场讲解、示范演奏、互动体验等方式介绍中国音乐文化。有一名退伍学生表示: 能够触摸到这些乐器并真正尝试演奏他们, 这与仅仅在课堂上看这些乐器的图片的感受是截然不同的!”除此之外,从去年秋季开始, 李增光教授与米炫晔老师还在当地两所小学开启了课后葫芦丝与中国打击乐兴趣班教学。
在孔子学院总部/国家汉办、中田孔子学院、, 在今后的发展中, 中心希望不断成长, 丰富内部建设, 增加馆藏, 在中田纳西建立一个理解、欣赏中国音乐的良好基础, 以更加丰满的姿态迎接各国音乐家、学者、学生、民众前来, 寻求他们想要了解到的中国音乐, 播撒中国音乐文化果实。

说明 ALLison Cooper和Gristian Iacob,跟随李增光教授学习6个半月,之前从未有过任何中国民族乐器演奏的基础。在音乐中心韩梅主任组织安排下,经过李增光教授专业(笛、笙)指导、语言翻译志愿者米炫烨老师帮助,两位同学顺利完成学习与演出任务。音乐中心的教学成果,值得肯定与嘉奖。
李增光简介
著名笛子演奏家,教育家,口笛发明家,国家一级演员,现任美国中田纳西州立大学孔子学院中国音乐中心教授,中国戏曲学院客座音乐教授,曾任中国广播民族乐团笛子首席、管乐声部长,“九·三”学社会员,中国音乐家协会会员,中国竹笛专业委员会常务理事,全国民族管弦乐学会会员
代表作品:《绿洲》、《南山吟》、《江河水》、《麦西莱普》、《敦煌印象》等。
1980年首创“双吐循环换气法”演奏帕格尼尼的《无穷动》,震惊笛坛。1982年研制出“音阶口笛”,并于2004年获国家发明专利(专利号:ZL00107768.6)。1987年参与录制由台湾“福茂唱片公司”出版的《北派名家名曲》笛子专辑;在科影厂的《中国民族管弦乐队》电影中演奏各种管乐器。1989年由中唱成都公司出版《中国笛子》个人专辑,后多次再版为《笛魂》、《中国笛子十大名曲》等。1989年4月15日李增光在CCTV举办的“山城杯”全国首次笛子专业电视大奖赛中,首演《绿洲》——“双吐循环换气”第一曲,获初赛总分第一名,决赛三等奖。1994年为新加坡“风格唱片有限公司”录制管乐协奏曲《敦煌印象》;1995年在CCTV“星期音乐会”中,与中国广播交响乐团合作演奏了《新编苗岭的早晨》,引起世界音乐界的极大兴趣,此后多次在国内外音乐厅演奏“音阶口笛”至今;
在1995年“富利通杯”国际中国民乐独奏大赛中,获优秀表演奖;1997年与人合作研制出“调音孔半音阶笛”“科技进步三等奖”。
2004年由“中国音乐家出版社”出版《快乐学竹笛》教学VCD;2007年由“环球音像”出版《竹韵》笛子专辑;2008年11月1日在西安音乐学院举办《长安笛韵》个人独奏音乐会,随后由“天天音像”出版《长安笛韵》DVD光盘。四十多年来李增光为影视及国内外多家唱片公司录制大量声像制品,受到音乐界的追捧。
李增光2013年至2015年还在中国杭州,福州,泉州,莆田和石狮等地成功举办了五场独奏音乐会。2016年9月他,在孟菲斯、纳什维尔、辛辛那提、圣保罗、芝加哥和圣何塞各种的场地多次独奏,并举办了两场独奏音乐会。他于2017年2月25日在中田纳西大学音乐厅与MTSU交响乐团合作首演交响版《绿洲》,取得巨大成功,此视频发布仅十天网上累计点击过四千人次,受到专业人士的高度赞赏。
李增光也是一位杰出的教育家,他多次在各地大专院校做笛子讲座,所教的学生遍及世界各地,例如:胡亮,现供职扬州音乐学院教授,硕士生导师;魏荣,现供职深圳龙岗新亚洲学校高级教师,深圳市地方领军人才,2009年“上海之春”竹笛赛金奖;宁英杰,现供职北京歌舞剧院笛子独奏演员,主演;张莹莹,现供职武汉音乐学院青年教师,2008年第三届“政府文化艺术奖”青年专业组奖金奖;李霁帆,现供职爱乐音专(美国加州圣何塞)青年教师。
李增光还曾出访过日本,菲律宾,新加坡,印度,泰国和香港等国家和地区,均获成功,1986年新加坡《联合早报》以“口出奇音的李增光”为题发文,称其为“绝技”;、北京人民电台分别刊播专题报导;2016年11月国家核心级刊物《乐器》,以“为笛增光——记著名笛子演奏家、口笛发明家李增光”专刊介绍;传略辑入《中国音乐家辞典》、《中国当代文艺名人辞典》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》、《国魂一跨世纪中华兴国精英大典》、《二十世纪国乐人物志》,被誉为“增中华民族乐器之光”。
Brief Introduction of Zengguang Li
As a National Class A performing artist, Zengguang Li is awell-known Dizi (Chinese bamboo flute) player, educator, and Chinese MiniBamboo Flute inventor in China. Currently, he is a professor at the ChineseMusic Center of the Confucius Institute of Middle Tennessee State University inthe United States. He is also an adjunct professor at the Central Academy ofDrama in China. Formerly he served as the leading dizi player and head of thewind music section in the China Broadcasting Traditional Instruments Orchestra.He is the Member of the Jiusan Society, Member of the Chinese MusiciansAssociation, Executive Council Member of the China Dizi Professional Committee,and Member of the China Nationalities Orchestra Society.
His representative pieces include Oasis, Song of Nanshang Mountains,River of Sorrow, Meshrep, and Impression of Dunhuang. In 1980, he firstexperimented on “Double Tonguing Circular Breathing” in theperformance of Paganini’s Moto Perpetuo which awed the music world. Two yearslater, he developed a type of “Scale Mini Bamboo Flute” for which hereceived a National Invention Patent of China (patent no. ZL00107768.6) in 2004. In 1987, Taiwan’s Linfair Records invited him to record his flute piecesfor their Renowned Musicians of the Northern School. In the movie “ChinaNational String Orchestra" made by the China Science Film Studio, heplayed variety of string instruments. In 1989, he recorded his solo album ofChina Dizi for China Record Company (Chengdu), which was later reproduced as Spiritof Dizi and China’s Top Ten Master Pieces. On April 15th, 1989, he premieredhis “Oasis”, scoring first place in the preliminary round of CCTV‘s MountainCity Cup National Televised Competition for Dizi and won the third prize in thefinal round. In 1994, Singapore’s Form Music Publication PTE Ltd. invited himfor the recording of Impressions of Dunhuang in their Wind Music Concerto. In 1995, he collaborated with the ChinaBroadcasting Traditional Instruments Orchestra in CCTV’s Weekly Concert Programby performing his newly arranged “Morning of Miaoling Mountains”, garneringmajor attention in the field of world music. Since then, he has frequentlyplayed his “scale mini bamboo flute” at both domestic andinternational concerts.
In 1995, he received “Outstanding Award” at the “Fulitong CupInternational Chinese Music Solo Competition”. In 1997, he succeeded in theinvention of “Tuning Chromatic Scale Dizi” together with otherresearchers and earned the Technological Progress Third Place Award from theMinistry of Culture of China.
In 2004, he recorded a teaching VCD of Happy Learning of DiziPlaying for China Musicians Publishing House. In 2007 Beijing GlobalAudio-Visual Publishing House in China published his "Timbre ofBamboo" solo album. On November 1, 2008, he held a "Timbre of Bambooin Changan" solo concert in the Xi'an Conservatory ofMusic, the live concert DVD of which was later produced by the TianTian MusicRecording Company. For the past forty years, Zengguang Li has recorded a largenumber of music albums, acclaiming international fame in the field of wordmusic.
From 2013 to 2015, he toured the Chinese cities of Hangzhou, Fuzhou,Quanzhou, Putian and Shishi performing 5 recitals. In 2016, sent by the Officeof Chinese Language Council International and the Central Conservatory of Musicto teach music in the United States, he performed solo in Memphis, Nashville,Cincinnati, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Chicago and San Jose. In between, he also organized two colorconcerts. On February 25th, 2017, he collaborated with the Symphony Orchestraof Middle Tennessee State University, debuting his “Oasis”. The concert waswell received and its live video clip was viewed by over 4,000 people withinten days and won high claim by many music professionals.
Zengguang Li is also an outstanding educator. He has appeared as aspeaker at seminars at many universities with international students. Thesestudents include: Liang Hu, Professor and Master Program Graduate StudentAdvisor at the Yanzhou Music Institute; Rong Wei, a local leader and seniorteacher at the Shenzhen Longgang Xinyazhou School who received a gold prize inthe 2009 Shanghai Flute Competition; Yingjie Ning, Solo Dizi player and a starperformer at the Opera Troupe of Beijing Song and Dance Theater; YingyingZhang, a rising teacher at the Wuhan Conservatory of Music who won a gold prizeat the “Third Governmental Culture and Art Prizes" in the YoungProfessional category; and Feifan Li, a rising music teacher at the AimusicSchool in San Jose, California.
Zenguang Li has received warm welcomes in countries and regions he hasvisited such as Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, India,Thailand and Hong Kong. Singapore’s Lianhe Zaobao has recognizedhis “unique playing technique” in the article of “Li Zengguang’sMiraculous Art of Dizi Playing”. Beijing Daily, CCTV and Beijing Televisionhave featured special reports on him. On November 11, 2016, China’s core musicmagazine Musical Instruments published an article introducing Zengguang Li,entitled "Adding Luster to Flute, Mini Bamboo Flute Inventor”. ZengguangLi’s musical talent has earned him an entry in the China Music Dictionary, theChina Contemporary Dictionary for Literary and Art Figures, China ContemporaryArt Celebrities, National Souls – Who’s Who of Cross Century Renaissanceof China, Who’s Who of the 20th Century Chinese Traditional Music. He has beenpraised as “adding luster to traditional Chinese instruments”, just as hisChinese first name zengguang suggested (Lit. adding luster).
